(Google Innovation in the Open) Google's annual conference for developers, which is held in May or June. Originally in San Francisco's Moscone Center from 2008 to 2015, the venue was changed to the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. Google I/O was canceled in 2020, online in 2021 and back to Mountain View in 2022. The major topic at the 2026 event was AI integration into more Google products. See technology trade shows.
